Kennedy to seek Senate seat

Caroline Kennedy has reportedly decided to seek the seat that would be vacated by Hillary Clinton.

(Dec. 15) – Caroline Kennedy, daughter of the late President John F. Kennedy, has decided to seek the Senate seat that will be vacated by Hillary Rodham Clinton, according to The New York Times.

The Times reports that Kennedy, who came to the decision after serious deliberation, will ask New York Gov. David A. Paterson to consider her for the job. If appointed, Kennedy would fill the seat once held by her uncle, the late Robert F. Kennedy.
