“Dream team” or not?

Clinton-Obama. Obama-Clinton.

Right now it’s hard to picture the two senators on the same ticket, but here’s a Web site promoting just that.

Its creator is Adam Parkhomenko, who resigned from the Clinton campaign earlier this year. tjndc5-5jwknjvgqpdgc1ledd2_layout.jpg

Here’s what Parkhomenko said in a release today announcing the relaunch of the site.

“Originally my goal was to have a place for Clinton-Obama supporters (in that order) to organize. But over the last few weeks, I have talked with Obama supporters who talk about a Obama-Clinton ticket. And they’re right, too.”

The campaign re-filed with the FEC last week as “Vote Both” to show its commitment to bringing both senators together regardless of which is the presidential nominee.

“Vote Both” was known formerly as “Clinton-Obama 08.”

It will never happen. Though Hilary would go for it in a heartbeat. Obama wants nothing of it. I dont blame him.
For the sake of the party Hilary should claim defeat so she can get back to NY and still do nothing…

I could be proven wrong, but I doubt very much that Hillary Clinton would accept the vice presidency. The Clintons don’t play second fiddle to anybody, and I think she’d rather go for a leadership position in the Senate, or make another run for the presidency if Obama loses, than have to subsume her political ambitions to his.

I also think Obama would be crazy to put her on the ticket. The Clintons have long shown that they have no loyalty to anybody but themselves, and her husband’s performance during the campaign certainly proves that he could be a major thorn in Obama’s side if he were to start shooting his mouth off.

So I doubt this ‘dream’ (or nightmare) ticket will happen. But who knows—stranger things have happened.
