Steve, it's one thing to know that food isn't the healthiest, but it's another thing to see exactly how bad that food is for you.

I was checking out the calorie count and nutritional information for some popular fast food meals, and it's shocking. They are loaded with fat, carbohydrates and sodium, all of the worst kind. The quantities are staggering. Eating at these restaurants with any regularity can only have a highly negative effect on a person's health, to a much greater extent than I appreciated in the past (though of course I knew places like McDonalds weren't the healthiest).

Maybe if people actually see these horrible calorie counts in black and white (worse even than the calories is the volume of sodium, cholesterol and carbs in those meals), the smarter ones will start to seek out other alternatives. It just seems as if these chains have gone out of their way to make their meals as unhealthy as possible. Maybe they'll be forced to come up with something better if people demand it.

listen. a cheeseburger is the most well rounded meal. it includes all the major food groups. depending on your toppings. so the fact it has all the calories you need for that meal. why not? and who cares? Like the cheeseburger at home will have less??? if so. you know what to do then..

Its a ridiculous/frivolous law. You go to a restaurant knowing why you are there... if you are worried about your waste you dont go.
