As pleased as I was that Spitzer dropped his ridiculous plan, I was sorry to see Mrs. Clinton let off the hook.

Her posturing on the issue was outrageous. And then on top of that, she had the absolute gall to claim that anybody who questioned her on it was picking on her because she was a woman. This woman has always been very good at playing the victim card even though she has been, in reality, far more victimizer than victim. I find that's usually the case.

Of course, the answer on this issue provided by Barack Obama was hardly more lucid than Hillary Clinton's.

The best quote I saw about Mrs. Clinton, in light of this issue as well as some of the other scandals with fundraising that are coming to light, was one that said something to the effect that "a second Clinton presidency would likely be very similar to the first one, in all the worst ways."
