Woodstock nay, Jackass Museum, yay

In case you missed it, CNN’s Anderson Cooper reported that the town of Bishop, Calif., wanted to spend $50,000 in federal funds to study the possibility of a mule museum.

You read that right: a memorial to jackasses.

Bishop, by the way, is the Mule Capital of the World. Who knew?

So lawmakers mock the notion of federal money to going to a museum to Woodstock, a seminal if psychedelic moment in history. But here’s a Republican congressman, U.S. Republican Buck McKeon, who thinks a mule museum deserves the money.
